East Toronto is more than a place to work. It’s where my family and I live, spend our time, raise our kids, and connect with the people around us.
This page is where I’ll share local initiatives, community events, useful neighbourhood resources, and simple ways we can support one another.
Monthly Food Bank Collection
Have something to donate? I’ll come pick it up.
Once a month, I collect non-perishable food, personal care products, and household essentials for local food banks serving people across Toronto.
If you have extra items at home or would like to contribute, fill out the form below and let me know where to pick them up. You can leave your donation on the porch, or ask me to knock when I arrive.
There is no minimum donation. One item, one bag, or several boxes are all appreciated.
Most-needed items
Local needs can change, but commonly requested items include:
-Canned fish, meat, beans, vegetables, and fruit
-Pasta, rice, cereal, and shelf-stable grains
-Peanut butter and other protein-rich foods
-Baby food, formula, and diapers
-Soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and menstrual products
-Laundry detergent and household cleaning supplies
Please only donate items that are unopened, unused, and within their expiry date.
How it works
1. Gather your donation
Set aside any unopened, unexpired food or household essentials you would like to contribute.
2. Complete the pickup form
Tell me your address, where the donation will be left, and any pickup instructions.
3. I’ll collect it
I make collection rounds once or twice a month and deliver everything to local food banks.
